THE TEAM
Lead by founders Ty Hester and Tatianna Tolliver, Optimist Studios is the creative home to an agile team of designers, photographers, directors, producers, and brand strategists. We are a group of like-minded creative professionals dedicated to the process of cultural advancement through interdisciplinary design and visuals.
THE MISSION
With a glass half full attitude, we exist to provide premium visual experiences for premium level brands and artists. We innovate with a high dose of optimism providing highly effective strategies, visual systems, and memorable experiences. Being an optimist is our brand promise and commitment to the clients that we serve.
THE ETHOS
We believe that thoughtful design and purposeful visuals are the key tenets that make a visual experience whole and we look for this shared belief system in our artists brands and partners. We take a unique conceptual approach to our work as we seek to create minimal design that compliments strong imagery driven concepts.
Ty Hester
Owner + Creative Director
As a passionate creative director, Ty Hester innovates in all areas of visuals systems, concept ideation and campaign development from the ground up. Ty has acquired credentials from New York Institute of Photography for design and has experience in many creative fields including creative directing, producing and conceptual design. As an innovator, Ty's desire to pioneer in the creative industry stems from his resolve to elevate brands to stand out beyond their category.
Tatianna Tolliver
Owner + Art Director
As a New York native and growing up in an artistic household Tatianna Tolliver has always been a creative at heart. Her passion for high-level visuals enabled her to attain credentials from New York Institute of Photography for photography. She quickly launched into a career in art direction with a focus on her love for set design, styling and imagery. Tatianna's entrepreneurial nature allowed her to co-found Optimist and gain experience across creative and digital industries working with artists and brands to highlight their voice.
